There are different options for the camera in the Remake, but none of them fix this issue, one that is particularly noticeable if you are playing a Mage build where you must be locked on a lot more often.

Players looking to go from the home screen of the game into gameplay as quickly as possible will be excited to find out that process takes just around 20 seconds. It being exclusive to one platform likely helped the developers focus on optimizing the experience. Retooling and improving animations can be a tricky prospect, especially for a game like Demon’s Souls where players enjoy the specific way that combat feels. Thankfully Bluepoint Games was able to update these animations without them drastically affected the feel or cadence of combat in a detrimental way.

There Are Many Exciting Possibilities For A Demon’s Souls Sequel

Whatever one might say about Bluepoint’s remake, one thing that absolutely needs to be acknowledged is just how amazing the game really looks. You can find the sword in the second area of the Shrine of Storms – The Ritual Path – on a rock where Patches kicks you down the pit behind the first Grim Reaper. Once you have the sword Satsuki will ask you to show it to him, agree and the trophy is yours. Use either a bow or magic while staying on top of the arena and dodging his tongue attacks.
